Ellis was writing rhymes and banging out beats with his friends on the desks at school. Things have since become much louder.
David Ellis is an artist born into a family immersed in music. His paintings are often recorded in the form of digital time-lapse — what he calls motion painting. He'd paint a truck from sunup to sundown for 5 consecutive days and stage events inviting musicians and performers to interpret the work live.
