Mark Andersen — Washington DC, USA

Mark has written very important books including Dance of Days: Two Decades of Punk in the Nation’s Capitol; participated in documentaries, been the engine of important movements such as Positive Force, he has been inspired by the best artist generation in the 20th century and, at the same time, has inspired others to start changing the world.

If activism was a paid career, Mark Andersen would have more money than Leo DiCaprio in 'The Wolf of Wall Street'. Or even more, who knows. But Mark is not interested in counting bills, but fair causes. Born in a village in Montana in the late 60s, Andersen started to believe that he could change the world just when hardcore emerged in Washington DC, capital of a country as unfair politically as fertile in countercultural projects.
