There has been no stopping the digital revolution that has swept the world over these last 15 years. It has brought in its wake many casualties in the sphere of hard-copy publishing. At IdN, we have found ourselves riding both horses — providing an international platform for digital artists and inspiring others with their work via the main medium of a tangible magazine on paper pages.

We are proud of our achievement in having managed to survive and succeed in both worlds at once, producing over this decade-and-a-half no fewer than 100 high-quality editions, many of which have become collectors' items. It is a milestone, we felt, that was worth marking.

A 30+ year veteran of painting in the streets and a hardcore gamer since the early 80's, SHOK-1 painted the image inspired by the classic videogame character to create a witty metaphor on our modern consumer culture. The original artwork was spraypainted on a wall in Germany in his unique X-ray style using cutting-edge freehand techniques pioneered by the artist. No stencils or tape were used to achieve the intricate translucent effects.

Circle Culture is pleased to announce the solo exhibition "Exposure" by Jonathan Yeo, which will be opened on July 9th, 2015 in Hamburg. The exhibition will primarily consist of Yeo's Leaf Works, created using the artist's unique and celebrated form of pornography collage. This typography series showcases Chinese characters using patterns from other writing systems such as Arabic, Thai, among others. TRUTH presents characters on proverbs said by remarkable people seeking for the true value of existence. Recognized by the iF DESIGN AWARD 2015, Eddie have used temperature-sensing ink to cover-up characters untile they have been touched and felt.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will present the first public showing of Isaac Julien’s new work Stones Against Diamonds during Art Basel in Basel, 2015. The work, commissioned as part of the Rolls-Royce Art Programme, will be shown at the Kirche Elisabethen, Basel, from 16-17 JUN 2015. Following the preview during the Venice Biennale last month, the video installation will be shown on a larger scale than previously seen, as a unique site specific installation filling the magnificent interior of the imposing church across ten screens.
