Atypyk — Paris, France

Atypyk can't be bothered with prototypes—they're too busy breaking the mould of product design.

The French independent product design house, founded in 1999 by Ivan Duval, Jean Sebastien Ides and Emilie Dolain, uses an unorthodox methodology to inject humour into their work. Forgoing a typical process for an “atypical” one, they explore the nature of objects with whimsical pieces such as scratchable postcards and confetti made of real money.
