Steinforth is also known as Mateuniverse as his VJ alias, specializing in animations, performing at various art and electronica events with his moving-pictures work.
Born in Hannover 1977, Mate Steinforth is a designer and director based in New York City. Having studied graphic design at the University of Applied Arts Hildesheim and the University of Madrid, Facultad de Bellas Artes, Steinforth has worked extensively in the field of motion design in Madrid, Berlin and Munich. He is currently working at the internationally acclaimed production company Psyop.
