Charlie Behrens is a London-based video artist and graphic designer. He graduated from the London College of Communication this year with distinction and is already making a splash the creative industries, having been featured on It's Nice That and Computer Arts magazines. Charlie recently made the video piece "Algorithmic Architecture," inspired by a Kevin Slavin talk. It uses the weird nuances of when Google Earth doesn't register 3D images correctly as a metaphor for how our cities' architectural landscapes are being altered to suit the agendas of a myriad of computer algorithms...

The Functional Fox: Design & Illustration (Bradford, UK)
The Functional Fox graduated with a First Class Honors in Graphic Design & Illustration, and in 2012 got awarded the National Media Museum prize for Creative Ability. He works in a range of styles and software applications and has experience both digitally and traditionally in Graphic Design. His main hobby is collecting design books, he currently owns over 500 and has around 400 magazines. He also collects matchbox labels and various stamps. He creates most of his work using Adobe illustrator and Photoshop but occasionally likes to get inky fingers.

Lilit Hayrapetyan is an art director, designer and 3D artist based in the Los Angeles area. She currently works at Psyop as an Art Director, designer and 3D artist. Lilit's understanding of contemporary visual culture empowers her workflow in different platforms from creative ideas to final production. With 14 years of experience in the industry (via award-winning studios including Psyop and Prologue) it is not surprising for Lilit to have clients in the likes of AT&T, Pansonic, Audi, Mazda under her belt.

Hiii Typography 2013 (Nanjing, China)
Hiii Typography competition is divided into two sections: Latin and Chinese, and three categories: Typeface, Communication and Experimental. Participants are to upload their works to Hiiibrand.com. Based on the principle of justice and equity, several world-famous judges will select the winners for Grand Prix and Jury Awards. Other awards include Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit Awards for each category. The award-winning works will be published by New Graphic, a professional magazine for graphic design. Submission deadline is 31 JUL, 2013.
